Please join us for the fifth annual Jo's Hope Turkey Trot. Over the past four years, the Jolene Hensley family and many generous sponsors have held a turkey trot to help raise funds for cervical cancer awareness. Race proceeds support the American Cancer Society, the National Cervical Cancer Coalition, and the Jolene Hensley Scholarship, given to one local high school senior every year. Race day will start with a one mile "Gobble Wobble," Walk/Run at 8:30am, followed by a 5K race at 9:00am. Both events will commence at Warvel Park in North Manchester, Indiana. Registration will open at 8:00am in the Manchester Jr./Sr. High School gymnasium. Walk-in participants are welcome for both races, however will not be guarnteed his or her preferred t-shirt size. Following the 5K race there will be refreshments and an awards ceremony held in the MJSH gymnasium. There will be prizes for best Thanksgiving-themed costumes and the first 50 finishers of the 5K race. Registration includes long sleeve t-shirt and refreshments.
